然而，难道因为现实的残酷，我们就要放弃理想吗？如果这个社会只剩下现实，那会是一个多无情的社会！只强调真实的可能、真实的财富，只在现实的体制内生活，没有人充满理想的宣扬大同世界、向往美好的生活，要求改变不好的现况，那我们怎么会进步呢？如果所有人都在现实面前低下头，最后等待我们的，只会是一个汲汲营营，为名为利的自私社会。

理想在实现中实现的困难重重，但是它的意义不只在当下实现了理想没有，还需在乎这个理想的追求对未来长远的改变，像孔子的理念虽不被当代国君接受，而千年后的我们不是深受儒家思想的影响，而肯定仁德修为之必要吗？法国大革命时，一群有志之士坚持民选总统的理想，经过无数战争和血腥，终于推翻王室的贵族制度，当今的社会正是以此为基础，才能实现民主制度的不是吗？
