today the quality of our natural environment has become an important issue. the world population is rising so quickly that the world has become too crowded. we are using up our natural resources and at the same time polluting our environment with dangerous chemicals. if we continue to do this, life on earth cannot survive. concerned people have made some progress in environmental protection. governments of many countries have established laws to protect the air, forests and sea resources and to stop environmental pollution. still more measures should be taken to solve environmental problems. people should be further educated to recognize the importance of the problems, to use modern methods of birth control, to conserve our natural resources and recycle our products. we are sure that we can have a better and cleaner place in the future.

在上周的周末，我和爸爸妈妈一起来到照母山附近的一个湖泊，进行了一个小规模的环境调查。

我们先环湖一周，没走多远就看见湖里有许许多多的瓶子、纸屑、易拉罐等，而且路边有大堆垃圾，垃圾桶长期没人收，都已经冒出来了，也没有人去清理。很多人看见垃圾桶已满，没有人提醒，随手往地上丢。草地上也有很多纸屑，垃圾桶里垃圾堆积如山，有的人往湖里丢，有的往地上丢，有的往垃圾桶丢。还有一些野餐结束了，塑料袋、食物残渣没有收，脏兮兮的。

我觉得形成的原因就是人们保护大自然的意识不强，环保理念没形成，公共卫生意识不强，乱丢塑料袋、纸屑、易拉罐等等。建议在湖边或在草坪立一块提示牌，并及时处理垃圾，及时回收垃圾，并提醒人们不要丢垃圾了。

另外，我建议城市的管理者也要加强管理，及时把散落的垃圾清理走。及时提醒人们注意保护环境，对乱扔垃圾者给予一定的惩戒，比如看见乱扔垃圾者被发现要打扫公共卫生一天，以加强人们的环境保护意识。

大自然很美，我希望人们不要再破坏大自然，让我们生存的家园更美丽。
